iPad Lauches All Over the World

According to Channel NewsAsia, Apple has launched its much hyped new product, the iPad, today officially over several countries in a staggered product launch.

It looks like the iPad is a winning product for the California-based Apple, with long queues formed at all launching countries. The report also mentioned that Singapore will be in the next round of launch in July this year. But I won't be tempted to buy as the price of owning an iPad is too high. Plus I have just gotten my new Toshiba laptop this year too and thankfully, it has served me well after the first week of terror use.

Even Japan's Sony is already getting on the touchscreen tablet bandwagon but I seriously doubt it can defeat Apple's new crown jewel.

What do you think about the iPad?

PS. the name still sounds horrible to my ears. It's too close to what ladies uses every month. =/

Manga Read: Kuroshitsuji Chapter 45

Once again, it's that time of the month and Kuroshitsuji has fall upon us, beckoning to be read. ;) Thanks to Bleach Asylum for scanlating this latest chapter so quickly, though probably it's also because the chapter is so short.

Warning! Spoilers ahead!!!

---

Here, readers are introduced to a new character which Ciel identified as Father Jeremy. If you recall, Sebastian had instructed Mayrin to send out an owl just before his 'death'. It turns out that this owl reached Father Jeremy and now he has arrived at Phantomhive mansion to solve the murders mystery, since Sebastian is not able to do so due to his unique circumstances.

Now the arc is delving into a Sherlock Holmes world where mysteries are being attempted to be resolved before the next murder happens. This is also like what Agathe Christie would write in her mystery novels too.

Oh man, Yana Toboso sensei is going to her readers one hell of an exciting read and now I am eagerly waiting for the next chapter to come. =D

I finally got Jay Chou's new album, The Era

Yay! After a year of waiting, Jay has finally released his latest album on 18 May 2010. Well for preorder customers we get the album one day earlier. Hence I went to collect my copy at Tampines Popular although I did not order the 3D metal box version (see below).

For Taiwan fans who preordered, they get an additional 3D calendar on top of getting a set of 9 commemorative badges representing each album that Jay has released throughout his decade career. Singapore fans like me only get the badge, no calendar =(

I am not sure what I can do with the badges. Maybe I'll just put them aside and keep them in their original plastic so that dust will not accumulate.

The theme for Jay's new album is vampire and Jay dresses up as a vampire but somehow he doesn't look as good as the dragon warrior knight in his previous album. Nonetheless he is probably catching up on the vampire fever that starts from Twilight and I don't think it will hurt his album sales.

Now I am happily listening to his new songs as well as Ayumi Hamasaki's new album, Rock 'n' Roll Circus (see below).

I bought her album much earlier and after listening to the songs, I liked them immediately and now I am a happy fan. Both my favourite male and female singers have put out their respective albums so what is there not to be happy?

=D

Yay! I got distinction for my Ethics and Governance group project

Yay! I got back the results for one of my group assignments and we scored very well for it. I'm telling ya, Ethics and Governance (EG) is not an easy subject to tackle as you can get unexpected results from the lecturer.

In my case, I had failed my individual EG assignment by just a couple of points and our lecturer marked extremely strict. I was shocked to see that she put everything as unsatisfactory. Man, my ego was so badly hurt when I retrieved my assignment together with my Human Resource (HR) group mates on the day I completed my HR exam.

Anyway the release of my EG group project somewhat lifted my spirits a little but the most important thing is to pass the exam. If not, I might have to repeat the module again and that will sucks big time.

Amazing Japanese Rice Growing Bra

The Japanese are truly an amazing bunch of people on our Earth. They can come up with lots of quirky stuffs that actually turn out to be quite practical in daily life usage. Just like this new Japanese rice growing bra. How did they manage to come up with that kind of stuffs?

Singaporeans are not even close to half of what the Japanese can and have achieved for themselves. Their brains seem to work in a wave that is different and special from normal people like me and you.

I wonder how last will this latest Japanese bra invention goes in Singapore. Most Singaporeans Didn't have freckles but now it's quite obvious. =D
