Here we will see the last of Kagura as she finally gets her heart back but is poisoned with miasma by that scheming Naraku. She pondered over her newfound but short-lived freedom from Naraku. Before she dies, she sees Sesshomaru for the last time and floated into petals with a smile.
InuYasha and gang came too late to save her but they are somewhat relieved that she died happy. Initially I didn't like Kagura so much as she kept foiling InuYasha's plans to retrieve the Shinkon Shards but as the mangaka slowly developed her character, we came to know that Kagura is very much different from Naraku. At least she wanted to live as herself, without the control of Naraku and his evil plans. Throughout the story, all she wanted was the return of her heart so that she can gain freedom from Naraku and live as free as the wind. After all her name signifies the wind.

Anime Watch: InuYasha Kanketsu Hen

Finally, we get to see the last volumes of the popular manga, InuYasha, being animated on TV. The new and final season titled InuYasha Kanketsu Hen (or InuYasha The Final Act) started airing on Japan TV on 3rd October 2009 (my birthday! woo~) and started airing in the States the next day.
The volumes being animated are from 36 - 56 (end) and will officially conclude the anime series for InuYasha. Even though I have not yet seen the previous seasons of the anime, I am still watching the new season as I have finished reading the manga and thus I can follow the anime without any problem.
So far I have watched up to episode 8, where we bid farewell to Kikyo as she passed away in InuYasha's arms. Naraku had wanted to kill Kikyo so that she would die in his arms, the person whom she hated the most. Luckily InuYasha managed to get her back from Naraku before she dies. Still her injuries are too serious for her to recover and InuYasha shared a poignant last kiss with Kikyo before she turned into petals and floated away into the sky.

Nowadays it is not easy to find animes on the web as these are unauthorised airing of the shows. However for asians fans like me, this is the only way to catch our favourite animes as our local TV network is not good enough to bring these animes to our shores. *sighs*

Manga Read: Kuroshitsuji Chapter 39
Yay! Many thanks to Bleach Asylum for putting out the scanlations for the latest chapter to Kuroshitsuji! Please join Bleach Asylum to thank the wonderful team for their effort! (^_^)
Right. This chapter continues on to the party that Ciel is going to hold at his Phantomhive mansion. The name list of the guest seems pretty impressive and everybody pays respect to Ciel's title. There's also the appearance of Lau and Ran Mao. Ran Mao is so well-endowed and the way she sticks to Georg is so funny. Heehee...
Yana introduced a new character, Arthur, and he's such an endearing guy. Poor guy got overlooked during the introductions and it was cute to see him dwelling by himself, wishing that he could go home instead of being at the party. Ciel came to his rescue by sitting next to him and started a conversation about his works.
Ciel is also impressive and gallant when he protected a female guest, Irene Diaz, from being splashed with water by Georg. Georg was being an asshole for trying to touch Irene and he was incensed that Irene told him off, hence the water splashing incident.
However, the chapter ended with Georg's murder in his room. Who could have done it and why did they want to kill him? I think it's a nice coincidence that Yana drew Ciel in a Sherlock Holmes getup since this chapter is embarking on an investigation trail with that murder.
Plus she ended the chapter by writing that the horrifying curtain has been lifted in the Phantomhive mansion. What does she mean by that? It certainly leaves the reader wanting more. Aww.. Now I have got to wait till 18 December before the next chapter is released.
It's amazing that Kuroshitsuji has gone on such a long journey and now it's hitting the big chapter 4-0. Wee, Congratulations Yana!

Jay Chou's New Duet with Cindy Yeon
All right, this isn't exactly a brand new piece of information but Jay Chou has recorded a duet with Cindy Yeon, an upcoming new singer I suppose. I'm not familiar with Cindy but Jay is my absolute favourite idol. The title of the new song is 画沙 and you can find the song at the link here.
I hope Jay's new album will come out soon. Normally he would release his new album around the end of the year and it's November now. I am constantly checking for news that I might have missed out. O.o

Manga Read: Kuroshitsuji Chapter 39 RAW
Woohoo! The latest chapter to Kuroshitsuji has now been released, though it's still the raw version for now. Please join Bleach Asylum to get the chapter.
Ciel looks so adorable in this new chapter. Yana Toboso has drawn him in a Sherlock Holmes-like clothes and he looks every bit the smart detective that he can be. Obviously I don't quite understand what's going on in the chapter but Ciel seems to be hosting a party at his Phantomhive mansion.
Ran Mao is so cute as she keep rubbing and sticking herself to a foreign man. Ha! Plus her boobs are on wide display for all to see. Oh man, Lao can be such a lucky guy eh?
Yet the chapter has to end in a murder of the said foreign man. What exactly happened? Yana is sure amazing at drawing mysteries as she got me hooked on guessing who might be the killer. Oh man, I can't wait for the translation to come so that I can at least know what's going on in this chapter.

Gokusen Movie Coming to Singapore on 19 November 2009
Yay! Gokusen the movie is coming to Singapore soon! The opening date for the movie here is stated as 19 November 2009, which means it's next week! I have pasted a copy of the movie poster below for some eye-candy-viewing. That's Yukie Nakama as Yamaguchi-sensei in the poster by the way.
Currently I am watching Gokusen 3 of the TV series on my Apple iPod classic and I was so surprised to see the movie poster up at Commonwealth MRT station a few days back. I contacted Queenie immediately to book her to watch the movie.
Boy I am lucky enough that she's interested to watch and that she has the time to watch. Well, my movie kakis are getting lesser and lesser >_< Pathetic eh? Nonetheless, it's great that I can get to watch this movie as I love Gokusen.
Too bad I didn't get the chance to read the manga version, which should definitely be very good. Still I managed to get hold of all the 3 seasons of the TV series and I am very happy to re-watch them again. My favourite season is number 2 as it has Kazuya Kamenashi and Jin Akanashi. They are soooo cool. \(^o^/
In any case, the movie cast description mention Kazuya Kamenashi and I am sooo looking forward to seeing him again. Hee... Seeing how passionate Yamaguchi-sensei is teaching her students makes me wonder why I didn't get my own version when I was still schooling.
Oh well, this is the manga version so we can't take everything at face value. It's all entertainment, right? *_* Alrighty, I better start counting down to the day that I can watch the movie.

Manga Read: Skip Beat! Chapter 148
Phew! Skip Beat! chapter 148 has finally arrived. Here it is.
Sadly we do not get to see the present that Kyoko bought for Ren. The suspense is seriously killing me. Argh! All right, I guess I'll just have to wait until the mangaka decides to reveal once and for all. @_@
However we do get a teaser in this chapter. Kyoko is still unable to forget that kiss with Shou. Till now, she is constantly getting enraged over that kiss until her veins popped on her face.
Shou certainly calculated his move before he decided to kiss her. Knowing that Kyoko will no doubt harp on that kiss forever, he made sure that she remembered him permanently in her head. Be it for good or bad things, as long as he can make her remember him above all things, then Shou is satisfied with that. Man, he does hit the bull's eye on that. Kyoko is never ever going to let that kiss go by. O.o
Ren, on the other hand, sees Kyoko torturing herself over the kiss again and again. And so the mangaka ends the chapter with this picture:
That was such a big teaser!!! Oh my god! Will Ren really kiss Kyoko? Based on experience, probably not. But it would be nice to see Ren kissing Kyoko, after all he has loved her on the sideline for so long. After 148 chapters, surely he will get his chance? Shou gotten his kiss after all. ^_~
All we can do now is wait for the next chapter to be published. That will be on 5th December and it seems so far away now. T_T Aww...
Anyway knowing Nakamura Yoshiki sensei's pattern, it is highly unlikely that Ren is going to kiss Kyoko that soon. At least not in the romantic sense yet. Poor Ren, how long is he going to hold out his love for Kyoko? Maybe another 148 chapters? By then, all of us would have wilted. ~_~''

All 3 Telcos in Singapore to carry the iPhone 3GS
The latest news from CNET is circulating around the web, that Starhub is the latest telco to announce that they will start carrying the iconic iPhone. Singtel has been selling the iPhone since August 2008 whereas MobileOne announced in October that they will start carrying the iPhone at the end of this year.

This is nothing but good for all consumers in Singapore as it could mean that the iPhone could come cheaper and more affordable for many people to buy. For me, I won't be able to buy any contract phone as my two years mobile contract is not yet due for renewal. The earliest time for me is next May so I might as well sit back and relax.
This goes to show how big of a success iPhone has proven itself to be worthy of Apple's new cashcow status since the iPod days. Everywhere you go, people can be seen carrying or using an iPhone in one way or another. I think it's only a matter of time before the iPhone will overthrow Nokia as the world's top selling mobile phone ever.
How will the local mobile phone scene play out for the telcos and the consumers? It could potentially lead to a pricing war between the 3 telcos or it may not. However the consumers only has goodness to gain from it all. It's the telcos' fight to earn and keep the consumer dollar firmly in their hands. Only their pricing plans will sway consumers successfully to their side, provided it's the most competitive amongst all.
I can barely wait for the drumroll to start. =D

Phew! Finally I cleared my exams!
Oh boy, I am glad that I have finally cleared all my 3 exams for this semester. My brain is gonna burst from all the information overloading. Meh...
However I have no confidence in passing my Business Finance subject as it is simply too complicated for me to understand the concepts. Not only that, the lecturer taught at such a fast speed that I can't catch up and whatever concepts he mentioned, I can't apply to my exam accordingly.
The exam comprises 70% of my module and I doubt I can pass it at all. No matter how hard I try to force my brain, there are some questions that I ended up leaving blank as I simply don't know the answers.
Oh man, I am so depressed right now. T_T
